Does that count to the time those trials are active for?

You got lucky, for sure! Such a mystery what happened on 6/4 that has us all in limbo there. Enjoy your new truck extra for us Lol

I think so? I’ve assumed so but I’m not entirely clear. I’m also wondering what will happen in terms of subscription/trial if I end up switching to a different truck instead of the one that’s in limbo

Update: I talked to my sales guy today and because of this mystery limbo, the dealership is letting me keep my original hold on the Red OR that’s stuck at the port (they clearly feel bad they have no info, no answers, no ETA) and also put a hold on an Army Green OR that just got allocated.

Still love the idea of the red one but the AG checks every box and has nothing extra that I don’t want.

Now we’ll see which shows up first, the red that’s stuck in Baja or the green that’s theoretically arriving in September. What an adventure.

Does anyone have updates on their 6/4 build moving out of Baja?

    So mine still hasn’t moved.

Another dealer in the bay area got the same truck in yesterday and they said they were happy to sell it to me for a $5000 mark up and I told them to pound sand.

You must’ve absolute shit for brains if you’re selling an SR utility package 4x4 for a $5000 mark up.

My dealer said they received a response today regarding my (and likely other) 6/4 builds. They were told it is a logistics “grid lock” in Baja. 7000 trucks completed in the lot and more getting built every day. My 6/4 is completely ready to ship, they are just struggling to physically get to it because it is literally surrounded by a sea of new Tacomas.

hopefully that is the case...that just sucks because I feel like the more builds that come after ours we'll keep getting harder and harder to get to. Toss me some keys I'll move the trucks around and get em out! ...for a discount lol

Yep, that’s what my dealer told me too, some type of “logistic” thing. They claim there are no recalls, and if you search the Toyota website, there are no recalls.

And looks like they are shipping them based on date of manufacture, not sure how they know that.

Which is weird, because some other trucks made in Mexico are getting to the bay area much more quickly.

My Tacoma's build date was June 1. I added the VIN to the Toyota App on June 2, and when I picked it up July 18 (was at the dealer a week earlier), the Toyota Safety Connection's end date was a June 1, 2023, so at least that started when I used the app. (Never received an door opening notifications but could see the mileage and the fuel status.) I called Toyota Connected Services - 833-611-1742 - today and the rep was able to add one additional month of Toyota Safety Connect. The new expiration date immediately showed up in the app. My 90 day SiriusXM trial started the day I picked up the truck. I haven't signed up for the wi-fi connect trial yet, and don't know its status. Hope this helps.

There is a recall on 75,000 Tacoma truck, it may or may not apply to your truck but you can put your Vin in and check. here’s a link to the press release and recall link where you can check your truck for the recall

Fascinating. If that’s what’s going on, I picture some truck Tetris situation where our trucks are just getting more and more trapped under everything. Like all the Tetris pieces won’t stop falling, and trucks just keep piling up, making ours harder and harder to access. When will they get to them, I wonder?

I just put a hold on another truck that’s scheduled to be built on 8/8. So fascinated see what happens. What if that gets here before the 6/4? Crazy.

My 07/05-07/06 build looks to be moving now. The pipeline shows it was built 07/23 and is currently one phase after in ‘processing.’

The delivery date is still on par for what the dealer estimated at allocation before any build delay. Hoping to have it in the Colorado metro area the first week of August.

Still nervous as I don’t have the permanent vin and the vehicle details are cropped out of the pipeline photo.
