Out of curiosity, are these switches, momentary or push-on / push-off?

The diff lock clicks in and stays until you push it again but the locker will only engage if the truck is in 4lo (if it's 4wd) and under 3mph.

Not sure about the DAC as mine is a manual and doesn't have it.

Thank you very much. I'm hoping the DAC is a momentary switch.

When I head to lunch today ill check my truck, I believe the DAC is push on push off like the diff lock, but I will confirm here in 45min or so.

DAC is push on push off... must be in L4 and best to drop down into lowest gear possible. Won't operate when rear diff is locked.

Yup confirmed, DAC is push on push off.

FOG lights - Push on Push off
RR Diff Lock - Push on Push off
    AC 120V switch - Momentary
    Traction control switch - Momentary
DAC - Push on Push off
    RSCA switch - Momentary

And i believe (maybe @Dm93 can confirm) the manuals clutch cancel switch is momentary. (I have a TRD OR auto).

@haydendoesmith what are you trying to accomplish wiring wise?

Yes, clutch start cancel is momentary but stays active until the key is turned off.

Thanks everyone. @nd4spdbh, I came across this post
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-free-mods.4838/page-88#post-9881339

and instead of using a simple visible momentary switch, I wanted use a OEM momentary switch to ‘hide it in plain view’:anonymous:

I know I can get aftermarket momentary switches to fit into the stock locations but my preference was an OEM switch. Anyone know of any OEM momentary switch that will fit into the empty slots on the left side of the dash? I don't care what the label says on the switch, as long as it doesn't say ‘garage door’. :D

Better yet, does anyone know if there is an aftermarket momentary switch that has no label and looks like a factory blank?

I did check ch4x4. That's my alternate plan if I can't find an OEM momentary switch.

Clutch cancel switch is momentary and has a different label on it than the rest.

It has a latching relay in it though so it wouldn't be useful for a momentary switch.

Well shit look at that! Woulda never guessed it was more than an ole momentary switch that told the ECU it was OK to start the truck without the clutch in.

(actually makes sense why they did it this way, the ECUs on our trucks are from like the late 90's and dont have a whole lot in the way of expandability)
