Your setup would result in waxed paper. The smell is nice, but the other associated products become useless.

My problem was I did tell them to go fix mistakes.

After I got tired of doing it all the time myself.

I do hear stories now and then that no longer happens interesting how not near as many additional jobs get asked to be quoted.

We did have one loader operator get an attitude when asked to pay attention to where he placed logs on the infeed deck. If they're not all the way to one side they slide sideways and make a mess that I have to go manually fix with a cant dog.

I politely reminded him we needed the logs to that side, and his response was "here's the loader, why don't you do it. I suddenly feel sick and I'm going home." And he did, he parked the loader and left. I just shrugged since I ran loader for a year before joining the millwright team. Kept the decks full all afternoon and kept the mill running.

If you trade straight up and have essentially a vehicle worth $15k more for free, that will buy you a lot of gas. :D

    Yes it is.

Just getting ready to prep for bed.

It's a very comfortable 67* and no humidity here in the middle of the mitten.

Watching the bats scoop up the 'skeeters.

Normal years we have a pair that do the nightly entertainment. This year there are 4. I hope that is a good thing.

The wife knits. We got afghans coming out of the wood work.

I asked her how many blankets she had.

She said about 40 baby blankets and maybe 20 bigger ones.

If any one needs a hand knit baby blanket or similar, reach out.

It has to be on the sly, she won't advertise them. They just keep on taking up more space.

She keep claiming the lighting isn't right to show off their real colors.(I think that a is a female thing). I see colors just fine. Yes, I know 10% of us guys see colors different. No offense intended.

    @koditten

My wife took up crocheting two years ago after having to learn how to tie one handed knots and hasn't stopped making baby blankets for coworkers yet.

There's a stack of what looks to be 14 behind me in the office.

    20220725_211424.jpg

There's another 3 that I need to mail out to my niece and 5 more on the couch. Not counting the one she's working on.

There's a monster one that she's making for our bed with some really nice bamboo yarn but that's taken a back burner for a while.

She made one for someone that's expecting in a few months and that lady's 2 year old keeps stealing the blanket from the nursery. If that's not a glowing endorsement, I don't know what is. And he now has his own blanket.

I'm still dumbfounded that after only a scarf and three blankets that she made three Grogus.

I would do that without even thinking. I went from a tacoma to a tundra back to a tacoma and then back to a tundra. :anonymous: Finally decided to get into something bigger with the 3rd kid on the way. Bought my bosses truck as he was getting a new one. It’s a 2014 2500 with the 6.0. Been a good truck and really doesn’t do that bad on gas.
Around town is around 12-14 depending on how I drive. On the freeway it does much better. Just went on a trip last weekend, 307 miles one way and barely used half a tank.
Just don’t let it too low on gas because it sure hurts the wallet to fill up.

My father was a chain smoker and over time I inherited two vehicles from him. My recommendations are a cheap bag of coffee under the seat. Clean all surfaces with standard cleaner (trust me, it’s on EVERYTHING) and spray with a neutral febreeze. REPLACE the cabin filter, but spray it with said neutral febreeze. Plan to change it again in a few weeks. As OFTEN as possible, leave the windows open to airiate during this time. It will get much better.

Here is the Warthog my 1988 on it's last trip to the beach a few years ago, brake lines rotted last time I drove it & I couldn't get the correct lines prefab so I ordered the lines that can be bent easy in tight radius to build new line & never got around to replacing them. I still starts & runs like a champ with cold A/C just need to get in the mood to crawl under it again.

An old Boss of mine had one. He bought it bc it had a full sized bathtub. One day the Tax Man came out to see the “company motor home”. It was his Nephew that told ‘em we were never allowed to set foot in it. Think it was the only time those boys cracked a smile.
