Truthfully, any of the modern 3/4 Ton and above trucks are extremely capable.

If only you could get a Ford Chassis with an Allison Transmission and a Cummins motor. That there would be the perfect hauler

 

That would be the best truck!

I had to have my trans built in my '03 Duramax, it's like driving a different truck now.

 

Was that when they went to twin turbo?

 

I believe they were twin turbo with the turbos mounted in the valley of the v. That was between the 6.0 and 6.7.

 

we've got a 2019 6.7. It's been a workhorse and have had zero issues with it. Just turned 60K miles. If any complaints on our part is it sucks DEF like no tomorrow.

 

Can you delete it or not with the EPA cracking down on emissions?

 

Morning gents. Already an hour and a half in.

 

not sure. All I know is that if you run out of DEF, the engine will not crank over the next time it's shutdown and attempted a restart. We get about a 1000 miles on 10 gallons of DEF.

 

I'd still drive one of these.. if I could find one

 

Put this new hitch on the trailer and the lock wouldn’t close the gap. Luckily I know a guy
