Does the bug deflector work well or was it more of an aesthetic add on? I had one on almost all my trucks in the past but the location and look of the taco ones are odd to my eye. However, I like the additional 'dark' contrast on the LR.

Go check out Starbase! I really want to get out there someday. I've been following SpaceX for some time now. I really want to see Starship and Super Heavy. Someday.

The overhead dome light I can't get to grab...

That one gave me the most trouble as well. I said quite a few swear words trying to get those. Finally, after my hands were all ripped to shreds, I grabbed some gloves. That was the trick for me. Actually, getting them out wasn’t too bad. Getting them back in was where I was having trouble. I just couldn’t get them to turn and lock in.

oh, and the overhead light bulbs…try wrapping some tape around them and pulling. I just used blue painters tape. Worked for me.

Dang, mine like doesn’t leak at all. Weird how different it can be. Mines about 10 months old. I think some people bead RTV along the edge for a better seal

Yeah, it’s not meant to be water tight as our bed caps have ridges. You can use sealers if you want or just don’t worry about it. I took the don’t worry about it route

yeah I didn’t expect 0 water but that was from a short rain almost a cup ended up in the bed. You can see the sun is already back out in the picture. Probably end up adding a bit if silicone or something eventually.

yeah I didn’t want to drill mine either. I bought a little plumping adapter from Home Depot heated the tube with a heat gun to stretch it over and the other end plugged right into the existing factory drain holes.

map lights I used tape, and the vanity lights just popped out, and back in those are done

the overhead light dome, for the love of God I can't get the bulb placed in keeps popping out, the rear license plate lights, my hands are torn up trying to unscrew the light, some people on youtube videos I'm convinced they have hands of a child
