Looks like the girls want to go swimming today.

 

I had one of those buggers stare me down the other night. Pulled in the driveway and she was eatin' my green onions I got by the side of the garage. Just stared at me like "what you gonna do about it punk!?"

 

Just got back from the dermatologist. Had to have some big lump cut off my arm. Numbed it up and took a razor blade to it. Now I got a big dent in my forearm. Kinda burns and stings , but not too bad.

 

Kill it before it grows. My Dermatologist is taking appointments for like 3 years from now. Pays to beat it back somehow. Pray it’s not a problem later.

 

Said they would run some test to see if they need to cut more. I hope not , cause they getting close to bone I think.

 

Guy I sold the jon boat to is giving it a makeover.

Morning creed and shop friends

 

My wife home schools our kids. Our son had end of grade testing and finished today. He did so good she ordered pizza for lunch. They called her parents and mine, neither could come eat although none of them work. Makes me so mad the way they ignore our kids. I said I’ll be there in 20 minutes. Brought em both back to work with me, got to make them some memories somehow

 

The answer to your question is...people suck. Family members are people.....

 

Sad. but true. You can choose your friends... your family? Not so much. You can however choose to ignore them!

Fact right there. Telling yourself you can’t expect Folks to act the way you figure is right takes a bit of fizz out of it. Just the same, bloods gotta flow thicker than water one would think. Tough to take the high road sometimes.

 

I can so relate to not really having any family .

That is so sad . I could kinda understand if they were a few hours away.

I don`t think that is the case though. Poor Children have two sets of dead beat grand parents.

You and the Mrs. have done what you could you can`t drag them to be grandparents.

 

I’ve heard the saying “friends are the family you choose”

 

One set is 15 minutes away, the other is less than 3.

 

In my case it’s family is the friends you choose
