been dealing with this;

 

Never ever will I ever do the engine mounts on this truck, only 11 bolts to remove and re-install, 6 hours later feels like I went through the entire book of kama sutra…






lower pivots painted and ready for assembly, going to cycle 37s tomorrow and see where to cut next

 

Think of it as a shorter Tuk. trip but with the same Bugs.

When I go camping my set up usually comes with 4 or 5 pillows, a hot shower, TV, wifi and if I play my cards right...free breakfast.

 

I started appreciating this type of camping

Just did south trail, solo, without ever needing the locker. It is CRAZY dry.

I'm still amused you didn't get beadlocks this time around, considering how often you popped a bead on the trail.

 

Beadlocks are for cheaters. Real men re-seat a tire with brake cleaner

I thought real men ran water ballast in the tires for extra traction? Water will leak out if you pop a bead!

 

This guy has beadlocks, though. He's a phony.

 

It looks like if you use that hammer it will disturb the front door alignment.

 

I think door alignment is the least of the concerns here…
The entire cab is tweaked anyways
They barely close as is…

 

on the positive side JD kit pushes this beefy bois a lot up front, still have to cut and hammer, but much-much less than anyone with stock pivots
