Hey all, new to the boards after recently getting Tango the Taco on Tuesday.

been wanting a Tacoma since Gen 1 when I was in high school, decided at 40 now is the time, or rather my POS Jeep died on me. Looking forward to getting some mods on while balancing not also getting divorced. Would love to plug into some LA / SOCAL meetups!

Welcome, I am also a Jeep convert/ past jeep addict. Theyre great but the Jeep world has gone real weak over the past few years and Tacos are way more useful for my lifestyle.

Thank you! Yeah we picked up one of those economical 2014 Cherokee’s and the thing was a lemon from the start. It took us a lot of places still and we put 122k miles on it but I’m glad it’s gone. Really excited to slowly build this thing out.

thank you! Yeah I’ve been lurking for a week and have gotten tons of valuable insight already. Looking forward to chatting more! Tires are high on the list as it’s basically the o oh thing the truck needed when I got it. Just trying to decide on suspension upgrades first but it may have to wait we’ll see!

That’s the hard part, having a vision of what you want your truck to look like and it taking time to get there!

You'll get lots of ideas for mods/add-ons around here for sure. (Insert meme with dude pushing a credit card w/dollars away!) lol

Hope you get to meet up with LA/SoCal peeps. I have family in the Inland Empire & Alhambra.

    Just a thought...

I bought the HDX Steps, Splash Guards, and Black Chrome Exhaust tip...within a month of bringing her home.

Then it was the Talon CAT plate followed by the TRD Skid plate, and license plate light covers.

OEM LED headlights, Tailgate Lock, Bed Lights & Bed Mat, Hood Shocks, TRD Oil cap...

SaBellCo Tailgate Lock and EmpyreOffRoad TRD Pro Grill w/Raptor Lights round out the purchases.

BTW, I've had my '21 Sport since May of 2021 and my wife is totally annoyed with my spending. lol

EDIT: OTT 8.0 Tune was done in May 2022

hahaha I wish, I’d like to get it done in a year, but we’ll see. I’m not going to go too crazy, I love off roading, but I’ll be on pavement a a lot as well. So I’m thinking going with a falcon suspension setup, canopy, and 275/70/R16 for wheels and tires. Maybe a roof rack and some lighting.

I’d love to spray the entire truck with white and black line-x but won’t be funds for that for a while.
