it was fine on the old rig. but anything with a 3D scan.. it shits the bed. oh well. cardboard has worked well.. luckily someone else has made use of the 3d scans of the shit we got

 

If I ever go standalone on the Taco, I plan on giving it a 4cyl mode to see if I can boost the fuel econ

This sounds like it would be really hard on it, it's hard on engines that are even designed for it. Best you could safely do is rotational idle

The newer versions take a couple years to become stable. 2016 is plenty of software for what most people do. There's plenty of add-ons on the older software too, weldments especially.
