Thank you, it is a fantastic DJ! I have no problem keeping it, but I could also use the funds to upgrade to a carbon gravel bike that would see a lot more use. If not, I'll very much enjoy riding it from time to time!

Another great day with great friends. Always good to get a good crew together.

Evil bikes really are a special breed. They don't feel like most bikes. But if you're a playful rider who likes a bike with character and personality, they are amazing.
I just turned 2K on my V3 Wrecker, and it's every bit as fun as day 1. I used to turn bikes over every year, this is it's second season, and I'm leaning toward keeping it another.

That's a good head of lettuce bud.

The Hawaiian shirt is a power move. Always keeping people guessing, either you are late for work at Trader Joe's or you just like to party.

    Well done sire!

Handup has a bunch of awesome HI shirts for riding in. Love mine, breathes great and is super soft. Highly recommended.

Hasn’t arrived yet, just asked him yesterday. He went with the 120mm variant. A couple in our group have the previous version and love it, this one should only be better.

Big props to Birmingham. This place is awesome, and I’m slightly addicted. It doesn’t close to 10 so perfect way to beat the heat.

I wish these photos shown you how big these bowls were. Probably 8-10’ idk. I couldn’t reach top of them without a run up.

I didn't drop in, too nervous, but riding the bike out of a bowl or cresting a lip is insane. Steepest incline I've ever went up.
Good thing the bailout is so easy on these little bikes.

DJs are wonderful for practicing overall bike control. Jumping on flats, manual training, dropping heels, braking, and pumping. Way less consequence wrecking a DJ versus long standover bike - like you said

So, the reason pumping is so beneficial on a rigid bike is you can actually feel the pump really well. Any small mishap in timing and it’s apparent. Practicing the body positions and movement, etc…

It’s hard to practice on an enduro, bc sure you’re pumping, but it’s harder to tell consistency.

I will say I came close twice for folding up due to such a quick turning/handling bike. Get to antsy and you can go OTB by simply turning to quickly, which I would take it as just showing my poor form.

That's a wild park! I felt like my riding skill increased a ton when I used to go to the skate park and pump track. We have a new pumptrack/skills park being built now, hopefully it will be done in a few weeks!

Honestly for the tighter bowls and practicing I’ve thought about getting just a cheap 20”.

Also here’s best video I found on the place. I didn’t listen to it just scrolled through at work.

100% this.. Seems like it would be apple and oranges but there is so much carry over onto the trails vs the pump track/ jumps or in this case skate park.

Riding the pump track has helped ton on the trails with carrying speed without needing to pedal or when pedaling isn't possible.

Jumping the DJ has helped just overall air awareness AKA dead sailoring less

@whitedlite you planning on swapping a DJ fork on that beast at some point?
