    Beautiful location! I spent a couple of weeks in the Red Desert back in 1979 doing reclamation work (plugging exploration drill holes) for a mining company. It was the first (and last) time I saw a badger..

    I couldn't figure out how to buy one--same story as that damn flux capacitor... So while I don't yet have a plan to get 1.21 gigawatts for the time circuits, I could at least put together my own version of this critical off-road recovery gear:

    It doubles my MPG and lets me park on sidewalks. Not sure how I wound up in Canyonlands, I was actually trying to find the Wendy's drive thru so I could start a fight with someone in front of their kids.

    I really only drive through Lee Vining in the winter, on my way to Tahoe, so it would make sense that I've never seen it open if that's the case.
