It's hard to say, I think it's gonna hit a bit lower and we will finish out the year about where we are now. I can also see Russia doing something that continues to cause unknown risks.

 

We are right about on pre-covid trend right now.

If supply chains and inflation ease up and the Fed decides to pause and watch, markets off to the races.

Plenty can go wrong, of course, but recently the numbers have been far better than the doomers have predicted. Earnings are staying strong. Employment is staying strong. Rates are rising but leveraged parties are deleveraging sensibly.

For now, the panic is over. The question at this point is really whether inflation can be tamed by year end.
