Welcome to the thread and good morning :hattip: 2 points for making me wonder.....

If we're talking about math, then no. If we're talking about the weather/heat, then it is definitely cooler the farther you go north, higher in elevation, or closer you are to dense forests. I think. But I was still curious so....

Seems where you live and where I live are very similar, with maybe the scale tipping a little in my favor (which is BS to me because lately I feel like I am living in Hates). And I bet we're better at math too. I am in the eastern portion of Harford County a couple miles south of Pennsylvania, and just west of the Susquehanna River. Lets look at Western Maryland and West Virginia, where we have some dear to hearts members.

Seems these Western Maryland and West Virginia mountains are nearly identical to us.

But lets look here, at hell, in more than one sense of the word...........

Surprisingly familiar, and I know this info sucks now. Maybe because of the Inner Harbor and the constant breeze off it. I work downtown and have lived in the city. The tar in the cracks of the roadway would melt to nearly a playdoh consistency from a brittle state the rest of the time. It was freaking hot. But lately, not so comfortable in my neck of the woods.

How about our dear friends up north?

Now we're getting into some Rob Friendly climates!!!!!

So yea, the entire country is in a heat wave right now so it's hard to pull figures that are not averages. I just typed in place names followed by climate on google.

Hell, on the news this morning they said someplace in the PNW is going to be nearly 100 today. Unprecedented.

But fortunately we don't have to worry about global warming being an issue. I've even thought about starting to fart again. :burp:

I live in western md. It is more laid back. The traffic is way better! The weather is up and down, but it seems to be a bit cooler here than other areas surrounding us. The summers haven't been as hot the last couple years. All the way in Garrett County is generally 10 degrees cooler than where I am in hagerstown cause the elevation gets over 3k there. But the bears aren't too shy up there anymore either.

I feel insulted when companies do that… 10%, who the funk cares! That barely covers sales tax in Maryland and I certainly don’t think the remainder 4% discount would cover their ridiculous price hikes. 4WD Parts can lick my left nipple!

It’s likely not as hot there, with higher elevation. I was mostly talking about the government there, seems authoritarian/ not libertarian and a bit dystopian.

All of Maryland is outvoted by a couple counties probly like most states. Its a fairly red state aside from Baltimore and DC area.

We getting killed here by all the Californians and nyers moving here, only a matter of time before Nashville and Memphis subverts the entire state. Love the Appalachians, wanna move out there soon and bunker down lol. I always have seen MD as bodymore murderland, but after looking up some pics of the country side of western part I see it’s the same as here essentially. Def beautiful

Oh I believe it. There's been a mass exit from those states the last several years.

Western MD countryside is quite purdy. And we get good sunsets. :D

i always knew getting rid of SALT deductions would have serious ramifications . Ya it’s a the same as where I want to move in Far East Tennessee. Appalachians are the best place to live in these trying times, not sure how long they can remain insulated though.

Ramen, pizza, wings, and a few others are among the most versatile foods ever. At least to me. When in doubt, ramen it out. It’ll hold you till your next meal and you can make it so many different ways. You can literally cook it in the plastic wrapper it comes in.

Spicy beef/picante chicken are my favorite, lol.

I might have to try Frank's. I've been a Crystal Xtra Hot and Texas Pete Hotter sauces as my basic sauces fan for a while. Then of course my death from inside out sauces :drevil:

No Sir, but it is pretty! I think the Pro version is going to be offered in the new Solar Octane aka Inferno, which is a better choice for us. Good luck trying to get one without needing to give up an arm or leg or both.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a 2019 in Voodoo like the Taco. That would be very cool.

Ozarks are pretty great, too - occasionally run across meth camps or houses, but all-told Southwest MO or Northern AK are really nice.
