If you can get one, go for it!
If you leave it stock you should be able to recoup most of the cost if you trade it in a few years.

If gas prices are a concern, you shouldn't be in the market for a new $40,000+ vehicle...

Also, in my area at least, gas prices have dropped about $0.50/gal in the last month. I bought gas this morning for $3.42/gal when gas was over $4 earlier this year. So gas prices are declining (in my area).

I had a friend with a 12 year old car. It needed a few things taken care of and he complained that in the last 6 months it cost him $800. So instead of being 'nickel and dimed' to death dropping $800 a year on it he bought a new car and now has a $400 a month note for 60 months.....

I'd hold out for the EV Taco. Tons of torque sounds fun....

My concern isnt the trend in gas prices, its the trend in car prices. Used to be that I could buy a comfortably optioned vehicle and easily knock down the note in 5 years or less.

Seems like in the near future a 5 year car note with a payment plan that's lower than my mortgage, will afford me a 1986 Yugo.

So if you can buy now, buy now. :cookiemonster:

Yes, but the reliability of a new car is worth something. I put up with old broke-a$$ cars during my college days. No Mas!

I’m tossing it around going back into a tacoma Pro 23 Solar Octane. Selling my 21 tundra Pro LunaRock. I think just my opinion the 23 will be the last year everything you read into. And if not no big deal. I won’t buy a first year. The only reason why I might do this is to down size the truck.

What I’m seeing on pics looks pretty good. But I may go back with white which I had in numerous Toyota trucks. That’s why I said I’m tossing it around. lol. My wife and friends think I’m nuts giving up my LunaRock Pro tundra.

I’ve seen the color in person on a Tundra Pro. I am not a fan. Loved inferno though.

Same with the Corvette C8 orange. Not a fan of the flat orange.

I guess I’m a metal flake lover for life.

Yeah that’s my problem I have not seen it in person. Not sure if I would like it in person. I love my LunaRock color. I have been checking on auto trader for a 21 Tacoma pro LunaRock. If I could find one maybe I would try and work something there. Tough to find any close to me with 7000 miles on them. That’s what mine has. I won’t work a deal if the miles are not about the same. I definitely don’t won’t the black or grey. I already have a black Z06.

How many times have you heard of a car exploding from the gas tank issue. Either car is going to be a total loss at that point. Do you really think a burning EV is safer? Flaming Tesla has to be buried in pit to extinguish battery (yahoo.com)
