Dealer will not repair leak, Toyotas rule; Its not a leak until a drop of oil hits the ground. The truck has 20,000 miles on it.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
drive it til it blows up under warranty and make em replace it. i'd just have it documented that u complained of an oil leak and they did nothing about it.

Yes keep your records even after warrenty it should be covered because it was noted while still in warrenty. Audi does the same thing they have 3 stages of leaks and until it is driping we did nothing about it but clean it off and let it ride. Car companys go figure

Thats funny, the mechanic must have used some spray degreaser to clean the area cause it was all over the water pump and side of the block. When they brought me back to the bay my truck was on the hoist and he said he found my leak and pointed at the hose I had on my oil filter catch. I told him it was on top and had to drop the truck to see it. The pic I posted was after leaving the dealer, being cleaned and driving about 45 miles. So by the end of the week it should be alot worse and back I'll go.

I noticed it about 2 months ago and thought it was just dirt from normal driving, looked a little closer and it was oil.
