If the truck has the options and color you really want and you can really afford it and the registration and insurance and gas for it then sure. You only live once. Just keep in mind that all new vehicles eventually become old and unwanted at some point.

Agree with most said, however, the lack of keyless entry with fabric interior made me go from SR5 to a DCLB TRDOR. For a daily, Keyless entry is a boon.

 

You do you, but 35k for a used 2wd SR5 is a big number IMO.

 

seems normal. Makes 2.5K or more selling yours and 2.5K or more on the new sale. Business as usual.

Whatever impacts there are in the future to the new truck prices, there will be, generally speaking, to your trade in value. Well, except your current vehicle will continue to depreciate.

 

If you don't take it someone else will. Your trade value is currently elevated, take advantage of that.
