Anyone running 6112/5160 and Icon RXT?

Looking for feedback on this set up! Im planning on option #2 for the leafs and a 650lb spring (5/6 setting) for front.

Front bumper and winch ready to go. Sliders and skids in the future.

And yes, I used the search function. I only saw one post with a similar set up.

 

Sounds good to me. Love my set up. Running 6/5 600lb springs not planning on adding weight. Rear leafs I’m interested in that as well. Members will definitely help out. Good luck OP

how much lift did you get after it settled?

 

Very close to 2” settled like 1/8” or so. Bilstein’s numbers are on the money. perfect for me. Loving it. With AAL I still have factory rake or close to it. Perfect when loaded up.

That looks awesome! Did you throw on the SPCs on right away? Ive been reading a lot of guys keeping stock and not having issues with alignment

 

Thank you appreciate it. IMO I would get them now. Definitely will help with alignment. The angles with lift on oem UCA’s changes so alignment is not great. With new UCA’s you can dial it in. You Can’t achieve a great alignment with out them IMO. Glad I got them wouldn’t change a thing. Hope that helps.

 

with 2" of lift and stock UCAs the caster angle will be low and it can make driving straight, especially at speed, very tedious because of constantly having to make small steering inputs to maintain straight. Bump steer will also be stronger, which sucks on the street and really sucks off road. also, having more room for caster adjustment can help with tire clearance in some situations.

 

So ive been reading a ton about this set up...I have a set of the rxt's arriving in the mail. I inquired to a shop about some installation prices and they said they wouldn't recommend using the 5160 with the rxt leaf pack because it only yields 1.5" of lift and arent designed for the rxt leaf packs... im a bit confused now after seeing so many builds with them paired together. Shocksurplus said they're the perfect match and also states they are designed for 2" of lift on their website. any feedback is much appreciated!

I thought the factory trd lift kit (the red ones) gives 2 up front and they dont include ucas in the kit.

 

Makes sense. But im too damn impatient and want er dialed in. It'll be a few month probably til I get a shell. Getting some @Shmellmopwho sliders installed this weekend... I might put some temp weight in the back to test it out.
