I'm currently re-reading Skunk Works on my kindle. It is a fantastic read, highly recommend if you are into aviation books. Additionally I know there is an electronic copy of Sled Driver out there and that is the crown jewel of aviation books. I want to buy a hardcover version some day, a nice $500 coffee table book. And as we geek out here, below is a talk from the author of Sled Driver and it is highly entertaining and humorous along the way. Bookmark it or something if you can't watch now, but you will not regret it.

Fucking people and the shit they do for attention.

This woman is going all viral about not showering for 10 days and how it's OK and all.

Who the hell cares if you lack personal hygiene as long as I don't have to smell it. When we went without a shower for over a month at a time we got our asses chewed; not like we didn't shower out of choice...fucking salty ass POGs.

Anybody here have any experience doing 2 weeks on/2 weeks off work in the oil field? More specifically coil tubing but anyone who has gone out there (coil tubing, wireline, etc.) I'd be interested to hear what their experience was like.

Yeah I wouldn't expect any different, just getting to the point of feeling like my last 208 weeks or so of work have sucked but I haven't been getting oil-tier paychecks to offset it.

I mean, I’m sure you could get on just about any type of crew you want right now, our flowback crews are 7 on 7 off, so are the operators.

roustabout work like 6 days a week
    I work 4 on 3 off

JBA had an issue with their boots recently, they were sending out new ones to people. Might want to hit them up about it if it's the boot that's failed
