Any Gerber experts? My tool box knife I picked up from a "antique" store:

    upload_2022-7-25_17-45-18.jpg

Only markings are on the pivot, so I guess "Bolt Action" is the model. Missing thumb lock release. Any thoughts on what I can use to replace it? Contacted Gerber and of course probably went to trash / delete : (. Not threaded so guessing it was press fit.

I had to get out the game when I realized I had a trucks value worth of knives.

I do not condone this behavior, but goddam was it fun for a while.

I really haven’t had time to find out how it holds a edge yet ,but was very sharp out of the box. I bought 2 versions of the Temagami , both are triple laminated,
1 stainless steel ,the other carbon.

That’s an NCC BBM V2. It’s a collab between 2 custom makers; Nick Chuprin and Robert Carter

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

    Like, so many.
I like this knife so much I keep giving it away to people who are getting into knives. I’m on my fourth one. I especially like the g10 model.

I must say this thread is very addictive! While most of you are looking for the best automatic, I'm looking for the best beer opener for EDC and I think I've found it!

I love everything about it. Speaks to my Viking heritage immediately.

At first glance I could feel the hair stand up in my neck, the smell of wet dew on the ground. The faint sound of an animal scurry in the distance, as I moved thru the underbrush slowly looking for anything of use.
A sun flare beams off the edge of my Phill’s Clever as I unsheathe it from my chest sheath. Everything goes silent…it’s just me and the clever. Lol, I want one. Hatchets/cleavers are my thing.
