    Just google "Tacomaworld front end clunk" and you'll see all the people like me with a nasty noise caused by the rubber not seating properly.

    You'd know if the fronts were failing because of the noise, but the others would probably go unnoticed. Unless you visually inspect them.

    Downsides? Noise. Poor Handling. Etc. Worst case is they shear off entirely -- I haven't seen this happen to a Taco, but other trucks.

    This honestly isn't some massive issue that you NEED to do our else your truck is doomed, but it's a relatively cheap price for peace of mind, in my case fixing noise, and the truck will ride a little better without the rubber.
