Synthetic oil or not?

    Need to do first oil change for me since purchase. What are folks using for 3rd gens, synthetic or regular?

    All 0w20 is synthetic. So all 3rd gens use it by default.

    Toyota says full synthetic... I see no reason to deviate from Toyotas recommendations.

    I ran into that at my dealer as well, the parts manager said they had to order a pallet at a time, the shop uses bulk oil so they didn't have much volume in the quarts.

    He offered to get me some from another dealer in their group if I didn't mind waiting a day or two, he got me 2 cases the next day, no problem, no extra charge.
