Even though I should stick with making a 'bolt on' rear bumper...part of me wants to weld it directly to the rear part of the frame.

I thought about it too, then I thought about the pain in the ass it would be to remove if I wanted fix, modify or do additional frame related silliness.

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about stuff like rust...the only reason why I'd need to address anything frame-related.

I'm only considering it due to the amount of time I'd save from measuring and drilling out holes for 'brackets' and whatnot if I decide to use the factory holes.

Welding it all in place alleviates that and allows me to, without regret, cut into the rearmost crossmember for when I add a tow hitch with the bumper.

I already have 2x 4 foot long sheets of 3/16" steel; one goes on top being 6" wide, and one goes on the rear face that's about 5" wide. Cut and weld brackets to attach to the "rear horns" would be a cinch after that and really it'd just take me building the wings off the squared ends.

I guess what I'm asking is, for someone to point out a big reason as to why I'm wrong in my train of thought.

I'm not totally convinced one way or another, but trying to tell myself that this way is "easier" which would push me to get it done sooner.

I personally don't think it matters on a truck that is going to be used, there's nothing back there that needs service without a bumper, if your swingout comes off that's good enough to gain access.

In other news, my brain is either working or completely broken, writing a fresh tune for the 5VZ... also noticed this in the setup menus @Running Board Man, they have a trigger preset for your 5S-FE, and yes the 1MZ config I'm using is identical to the setup on a 5VZ

Ya apparently when they released GW2 they said it takes basically no resources to keep the servers running so they had no plans to retire it. It's actually such a well designed game IMO. Strategy RPG basically - easily 500 hours to finish the 4 main campaigns, let alone maxing a fraction of the character titles.

Oh and it's only like 40 bucks to own it all.

I created an account in 2007 (I think) and I haven't thought about it since then. It was my "free to play" alternative to WoW
