Where did you get yours from? That’s the next thing I’m doing after the window tint. Do you have the front sensor garnish?

Weird. Does the pattern to the right match?

I did nighthawk platinums, output was much brighter than stock but it didn't change the throw or spread at all.

Maybe double check the socket seating?

 

Pattern on the right matches the left.
Replaced them exactly how the stock ones were as well… I’ll double check them at work tomorrow. Ill be there for a 24hr shift anyway.

 

If the pattern is symmetrical and they clicked into place, chances are they're seated properly. I'm guessing the bulb is a different length and thus reflecting out at a different angle. As long as they're not casting upwards too, they should be good.

The first commercial fishing boat I worked on (age 13) had no toilet. It was a 38 ft salmon troller, fishing the west coast of Vancouver Island. So, we used a bucket and over the side it went.

It was pretty funny when we went into harbor in Tofino every 12 days to sell our catch. A local native boat, would have a deckhand crap over the side if there were any tourists watching from the wharf. I bet they were not expecting that.

How much money you got to throw away?




The one I’m flying in that video is on the left. It’s one I built and put together myself. FPV drones have two main paths, quick and expensive, or, slow and slightly cheaper. The quick way is to buy a Ready To Fly kit, fly, crash (and you will) and learn to build and fix your stuff after you crash. Or you can take a few months to learn how to put these things together from parts, build one, then fly.

After that the paths split, are you going analog or digital (it’s like the difference between seeing crappy VHS or decent BluRay). Analog is much cheaper, digital is expensive but you may find that seeing the world in HD video is much more preferable (as I do).

There’s also a few different classes of quads, racing, freestyle, long range, cinematic, micro, etc, and it’s hard to know what you might end up liking when you’re first getting into it. That’s why I have 5 quads because I kinda like them all.

No matter what path you choose, you’ll want to get a cheap controller and spend some time playing a simulator to learn how to fly FPV. It’s gonna take at least a dozen hours of stick time to learn just how to keep these things in the air.

But I’m happy to help get folks into the hobby as there’s very few of us due to the steep learning curve (both flying and building). But the rewards, man, the last time I felt adrenaline like this I was riding sportbikes.
