I worked at a landscape nursery my last 2 years of high school. We were taking a break one day and the boss walked up and ask if anyone had ever ran a backhoe. One guy said he had as his grandpa had one. He said come with me. We followed to find a wheelbarrow and shovel sitting outside. Nobody ever volunteered for anything again

My first operator story was loading up rock at a landscape company using the tractor. I didn't realize up was down and down was up. Needless to say, the ol Ford Ranger that came in left with a bedside rail a bit skewed

All the good ones are in my little trophy room in the house . Nothing spectacular in NY unfortunately . I’m too Far East . Once in a while someone gets one around 135-150 but not very often . It’s gotten a little better the last few years . Guys need to let deer walk . Most of these here are from 30-35 years ago .

Just young bucks here, if people wouldnt get buck fever so bad, they would actually be nice bucks

 

It's the same here, we have some big deer but most people shoot em when they hit 125". I've been blessed to kill a 165 1/8" with a bow and another one in the 140's with a rifle. I used to shoot em all, not anymore
