Anyone in here remove the charcoal canister but kept the stock fuel tank? Fairly certain I know what I need to do as far as rerouting lines but I want to confirm it. Not worried about the any codes as I’ve deleted those a long time ago with hptuner. Tons of info on how to do it for the 3.6 but can’t find anything for the 4.0

Won't deleting the charcoal canister result in a lot of gas fumes and smells?

Exactly lol. Already ditched half the cats and the canister has been throwing fault codes for years

    lol fair enough.
My charcoal canister is right under the hood up against the firewall. Last time it was venting pretty bad right into the cab with the windows up and that got old real quick.

Thanks! I like it a lot, it wasn’t too hard. The bracket I just made out of some scrap nylon on the mill at my school. Would have been a lot easier with a 3d printer.

I wish I had room for the new one that held 8ft sheets. Moving the sheet around non stop is kind of the only bad part. It’s 1/8” there’s a ton more plate work going on.

    Too many to remember
Build a jig for those trailing arms or at the very least clamp them to the table. And move the heat around in opposite directions or they will twist like a pretzel

How much do you gentlemen think it would be to have a shop I-Beam, link, full cage with third seat, and 5VZ 5-speed swap a 5 lug extended cab Tacoma?

That is one gorgeous Ranger. Thank you for your reply and recommendation. I've just never been big into the aesthetics of Rangers to be honest with you. There is something about the 5 lug that screams Underdog and uniqueness to me, especially with it being even harder to find Toyota Pickups nowadays

After cow crash I’m parting out my truck.
I’m curious if the the dmz kit is worth anything to anyone?
I’d assume the bed cage is but everything else is welding in.
Like bottom of cage and hangers.
    Opinions/suggestions.

Thank you for another great recommendation. That is getting a little closer but still a little from ideal. I know it is tenfold smarter to buy versus build but I really think I want beams and links vs. IFS and leafs. I want it as "indestructible" as I can get it if such a thing is obtainable

    Cow crash?

Unfortunately, you’ll get bottom $$ for pre-welded components. I’m sure you’ll find someone who wants them but it wouldn’t be worth the time & energy to remove the stuff. Why not sell as a whole?

I just don’t want the stuff to got to waste, even if I got bottom dollar.
    Not against selling whole.

I like your style. You make it sound worth it. I reckon its a good return on investment because chicks dig Tacomas and you pull up rumbling in the thot yacht with tubes running through it you have them lost for words. Help secure one of the athletic girls. With a degree, high-paying job and stuff
