Apparently the difference was only 10cm or 4"? Surprised they didn't just do a mod program to reduce the roof height:

DCSB and ACLB would be the same.

My old machine was a Liebherr 946 with around 7000 hrs and over $200’000 in repairs when we dumped it. My current machine is a Cat 340 with over 8000 hrs and only broke a clip on the armrest and a turbo seal. The ergonomics and fuel economy of the Cat is far superior as well.

That job seems epic though. So much fun. I would be a lot calmer that’s for sure.

Great photo of delicate body mods to fit the bigger tires - another good example of... "Don't force it - Just go get a bigger hammer!"

I spent 13 years working for Liebherr - mostly in scrapyards in Ontario and Manitoba - the best part of my time there was the years spent as the resident field service tech covering all of BC - mostly on their forestry machines... and then I went to work for Cat - before deciding it was time to hang up the wrenches professionally and have more fun fixing my own stuff... :dancingbacon:

Now all I need is a neighborly TW bud with tools that can help me mount them. My socket set is in my condo in Florida.

You just need a 12mm wrench. Where do you live?

I have the socket I don’t have the wrench, plus you need some guns to pry those hood bolts loose, and lockdowns gave me noodle arms lol.

My mother now has one more locker than me and a manual. Also 35s. I’m salty.

She needed something flat towable (owns a class A rv) and hated the 4 cyl in the bronco. Was between this and that. Yes she’s gonna be actually wheeling it. She’s coming to ardbeg with me next trip.

Maybe call and ask. Place in Burlington is pretty cool. Sometimes the guys at the counter can hook it up. Never know.
