Make sure its Nitrogen. Best to send out the air for a sample. Even better is to remove the valve cores and let all of the old air out overnight before re-filling.

Has anyone sent out a sample to see if syn or dino flavored blinker fluid performs better than the other?

This is an example of what happens when you use synthetic oil….. I’ll only use regular oil in my engine to prevent something like this.

    https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l-general-discussion/368307-i-m-done-with-this-car.html

“My car was idling like crap the other day so I figured since I just got it, it may have been awhile since anyone changed the oil out. I decided to go ahead and change the oil. I used Mobile 1 synthentic oil like I was reccomended on here. Anyways, I drain out the oil and noticed it was extremely dark and even after 10 minutes of draining, it was still coming out. I decided to go ahead and flush it to make sure all the bad stuff got out. I hooked up the hose, ran water through the engine, started it up and was waiting for the water to come out clean (The engine never went above idle so I was told this would be ok). Anyways, About 3 minutes into this, then engine starts shaking and shuts off. I figured it was all cleaned out so I plugged it up, added the oil and figured I was ready to go. WRONG! The car won't freaking start now. This car has been nothing but trouble for me, I think I am done with it.”

The best part of that thread is other people advising him that he can tear and rebuild the motor down and have it running again for $600 or less in parts. This is a guy that just ran water through his engine to clean out oil. Like he's a candidate to undertake a successful engine rebuild. Hilarious

It's the 21st century, no reason for conventional oil to even still be made. Use synthetic of the correct viscosity and change every 10,000 miles. Yes, every 10,000 miles is often enough. Brand doesn't matter much.

Make sure you read the date, and where it comes from....a single mediterranean country is best. You want to avoid a mix of this oil from different countries.

Even "Full Synthetic" is a misnomer, almost all of them use a dino add pack and are group 3 base stocks.
