That’s definitely an option. However, I already have a 1/4” spacer on the driver’s side to account for the notorious Taco lean. Not sure if it was required, but Headstrong Off-road included it with my kit, so I installed it.

I wish I would have gotten the 1/4" spacer when I got my kit, bought it elsewhere that doesn't include on. I'm starting to notice a slight lean which I know will progressively get worse. When it gets too bad I'll just throw a spacer in there I figure though.

Yeah, from what I’ve read, I’m definitely glad I have it. That’s why I’m not sure I want to go the route of adding a spacer on the passenger side because I’d have also additional height to the driver’s side. That’s why I was contemplating just bumping up to the 2nd clip, but I’m concerned about the ride.

why do you want to go to notch 2? Trying to get more level front to rear?

I started on notch 1. Then went to notch 2 later on.. I added more armor, sliders, front skidplate, front bumper guard, a arm skidplates, steel rear bumper... Still rides awesome.

my next plan is to add 1/4 spacers on top which will bring me more level front to rear with a little less rake. Also going to be stepping up to 285s all around the same time I do this.

    Good question.

Answer 1: I recently installed JBA UCA’s and have very light rubbing on my front passenger side mud guard when reversing with the steering wheel turned to the right. Caster is at 4.0 but the -12 offset of my SCS wheels still causes a bit of a rub. I was thinking a slight increase in height would maybe cure it???

Answer 2: I’m bored, can’t leave well enough alone, & wouldn’t mind seeing the nose of the truck just a bit higher. :D

Just installed the stage 1 up front today. Thing looked so good in the driveway which came out to a 2.5" lift in the front once dropped down onto the wheels from the jackstand work, then going to gym & back measured again and it only netted a 1.5" lift up front on bottom perch. *Sigh*, going to tear apart again and install on second perch as I need 2" minimum due to the Icon RXT leafpacks gave the rear a 2.5" lift in the back and the rear rake is too much at the moment.

You can always add a 1/4” or 1/2” shim up top too.

FWIW, had this lift for over a year before removing the front sway bar early March. Driving characteristics remain great due to the heavier than factory eibach coils. if you don't find another work around, you might try it. i did have to loosen the right front frame member to get it out.

Yeah I removed the crossmember. It was just for the factory skid plate. All good after that.

Im looking at buying this kit but have a question for all you guys installing these yourself, Have any of you needed to get anything replaced under warranty? And is so how did you go about it?. I know on their site it says unless you get the kit installed buy a licensed mechanic Eibach wont honor the million mile warranty.

so just removing the cross member solves the issue is that correct? And I can still have the sway bar and TRD skit plate installed? Is the crossmember just a piece I can remove? Or am I just removing it temporarily to get everything else in place and I reinstall that. Sorry for the confusion I just want to have all my ducks in a row when I get to the instal. Cheers

I just removed the crossmember and left it off. No issues. Still have skid plate and sway bar.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Stage 1 kit with SPC uppers. Top notch with 315s. This required a CMC and pinch weld beat down along with some plastic trimming.

I know there is so much information on the stage 1 Eibach lift and various rear options, but does anyone mind verifying this will work with my 2021 4x2 DCSB? I’ve researched this using the suspension/Eibach threads for weeks, and Wheeler’s Labor Day sale has convinced me now is the time. I

    • Eibach stage 1 lift set on second notch
    • 1/4 inch top plate spacer for Taco Lean
    • Wheelers 3 Leaf Multi- Leaf Progressive AAL
    • Overload spring left in
Has anybody regretted this setup with the second notch? My sole reason for the second notch is to get more height, but I don’t want to regret it. Based on all my readings I think I’ll be fine with stocks UCA.

I almost want someone to just decide first or second notch for me.

Does anyone think the eibach stage 1 struts/shocks ride a little rough or jarring? Not sure if its the struts or springs(since my truck as no added weight)
