I'm a fan of Elon, but the Tesla market cap way too high. Hopefully Tesla doesn't implode because god knows the industry needs competition.
Anyway I believe the ban will not effect hydrogen ICE or other alternatives

I admit I didn't read all the posts in this thread but what happens when you pull in to charge up and there is no available space? Several vehicles in front of you needing a charge. Then you are going to add HOURS to your wait time. The more EV's that are sold the more congested the charge stations will be.

 

That is why the Tesla Supercharger network is ahead when it comes to charging infrastructure. It’s comical how so many keep drooling over the Rivian being able to tow 11K pounds. What’s the range towing that? Like 50 miles? So you can tow your boat, camper, race car, horse trailer, etc 25 miles from home and back. Wow that’s impressive.

Yeah. About the same usefulness as towing somewhere 25 miles away. Absolutely useless in the real world. Looks great as a spec on paper though.

 

maybe for the people in the citys who own trucks for the status but most country people i know tow regularly or its part of their job. i wouldnt brush that off as something "majority of people dont do" infact most realistic people buy a truck because it can tow.

Do you think the majority of trucks sold today are utilized to tow high payloads long distances on a regular basis? Keywords being "majority" as in >50% and long distance as in >150 miles that is the R1T's range under load.
