I’m MUCH further south… I was referring to the tap. Here there’s 2-1 with a neutral high/grounded on 3phase legs. I only know what I know from my father. He was a PE/EE for large scale production and lighting. Everything from ships, airports, stadiums, industrial facilities. I used to do redraws (ye olde onion paper) for date money.

More bracelets. Had to break out the swivel for the vice. The holes are on a 30° angle, 22.5° apart. Now I got to move the part because I can’t divide the divider by 1/2° :D

Thanks guys. Wish I could take more credit on the part itself, but that was all my co-workers program. I did convince him to do a whole video on it tho.

I made some of the smaller mating parts that went to this main assembly.

Ohhh I gotcha. Hard to tell from the pics but those could be 50 or 75 kva cans, they usually have the number painted or stickered on the side. Just enough for a tickle.
The lineman there do the same thing we do here, cover the live high line with line hose, pull the cutouts which kill the transformers, then swap them out. I don’t do line work, but my department would be where the old transformers came back to to see if they are worth saving, and test them before they go back out.

New tool alert. Finally sprung for a ratcheting 1 1/8 wrench. A size I use quite frequently around the mill. 383EB4C7-9BA6-438E-A6C5-5509A5691658.jpg

My guess would be gutters that don’t leak but that hasn’t been invented yet. :tinfoilhat:

I thought gutter-press/extrusion until I saw the screw joiner and the curvature. My guess is extruder for piping or electrical isolation/protection.
