Another reason to not fuck around and use your head. Getting stuck because you wanted to try something can set off a chain of events and lead to this.

Look at the hitch drop depth in relation to the seat width. All that leverage broke it.

 

Everything fits together fine. However the pads hanging above the rotor are a little suspect. All Bosch off of rock Auto. Rotors match the stock for diameter. Ha very any of you seen this with aftermarket pads?
