Well I started loading the trailer on Sunday and into Monday for trip to camp, worked pretty hard on it as I borrowed my SIL's trailer this round. We had 8 sheets of sheetrock, 15 sheets of siding, some left over tongue and groove, 9 boxes of flooring, new deer feeder and a bed full of tools. I had noticed that I was starting to get come stiffness and cramps on Monday but chalked it up to on all the things I was loading. Woke up Wednesday morning (camp) with a fever, struggled through the day did some things but very little. Yesterday morning all the sheet rock and about 10 sheets of siding along with 2x4's had to come off the trailer, figured it was time for us to come home so I could take meds. We always take things with us when we go there but we were not prepped for this, nearest town that may have had anything was like 2 hours away so we figured just come home. Yes we got to enjoy some but no work this time around. We will be back out first of next month.

    Afternoon, and thanks

A little something every chance we get.
Darn - sorry about that. Could well have been the heat. My body has been complaining at me the past week, though it hasn't gone on strike yet. That's why I'm taking it a little easier. Like doing the troubleshooting on the smoker, answering the email INSIDE IN THE AC, and waiting for replies. Repeat as needed.
When I'm done, I'll water plants and get in the water. That sounds like plenty!

I had considered that but the wife thinks otherwise, I also the did the lift on the F150 as well so maybe it a combination of things. I know it seemed weird that I got sick since I was hardly around anyone this past weekend and for it all to hit me all at once....

well, I don't argue with any wives! But all that can be heat illness related. And I can vouch that my "symptoms" have been cumulative.

Someday, I was hoping to get some folks together there - looks like that's not going to happen!

"In the Texas Hill Country, Rough Diamond Brewing in Spring Branch, 32 miles north of San Antonio, that it will be closing its doors on Sunday, July 31.

    Afternoon gents :hattip:

Damn brother that sucks, but hopefully you start feeling better soon. Definitely stuff going around right now for some reason. All you can do is let your body rest for now.

 Maybe.... covid did to us what it did to everybody. We've managed a beer meet up since, a little party, and some of us get to Cars & Coffee at Fiesta Texas - 2'nd Saturday EARLY AM. Don't worry, I always post that. There's another meet in SA that @Slimwood Shady and @Lucario Runner have been to. Gas prices have really hindered those trail ride trips (I love those), but that will improve. Got any ideas, feel free to throw them out. Everyone here is on a VARIED schedule!

Feeling much better, actually was able to unload the truck yesterday and put some of the tools away. Still taking meds this morning to make sure I kick it completely and probably will for a few more days. This stuff takes all your energy

I had the body chills and fever, but this time I got a sore throat with it.
