2nd gen leafs on a 1st gen

Wondering if this will work? they are off a regular cab and goin on an ext cab. both 6 foot beds obviously. anybody know if this can work?

 

Just check to make sure the mounts to the frame, shackles are the same size, and distance apart, that the ubolts fit, and the center pin
fits, if those all check out it sounds good to me

 

It wont work. When my friends and I were installing the deaver leafs on my friend's truck we soon found out deaver messed up on the leafs shipped and they were for a 2nd gen. The axle didn't line up because of it.,
