Added some TacoVinyl retro stripes and badge to my grille.

Still trying to get that lightbar even on each side. My OCD is getting the best of me on this one.

I like how you don’t have a front plate, on my truck it protrudes out looks awkward wonder what’s under there if I take it off???

no I don't sorry. nothing I bought anyway. I just found them in the hoard of little things like that I have. I don't even know if they were something I scavenged or something my Dad had.

Did my 5k service at the dealership today. Dropped it off at 5001 miles. 2 hours later, drove it home after getting a tire rotation and floor mat check. Waste of time tbh but it was free and I wfh so just sat in the lobby completing work on the laptop. No photos, sorry haha.

There was an army green sr5 trail edition in the showroom. Oddly, they swapped the included pro grille w/ bronze lettering out for a pro grille w/ regular black lettering. Oh and obligatory ‘stealership’ pricing of $2995 added for leather seat covers with horrible fitment.

The drive there and back was a good test of the CaliRaised roof rack and wind noise. I’m happy to say, there was no noticeable gain in noise. This was with the fairing in the upright position covering the lightbar. I’m sure with it down there would be some additional noise but that’s to be expected.

I just took mine off today. Ohio no longer requires a front plate and doesn't provide one when you get new ones, so I removed it. Just two little screw holes are left. I picked up some little black plugs and popped them in. Not perfect but better than the bracket.

I remember jacking keys (read: found tucked into the visor) to a backhoe when I was a kid and getting it stuck like this. Ended up having a wrecker to come out and pull it out, at least that's what I heard. Didn't stick around to find out...... :bikewheelie:

stealership indeed, seat covers are normally just a few hundred dollars retail and they don't look good. I have katzkin leather seat surface replacement and heated ventilated front seats all parts and labor done for like $3.9k.

The bottom and back portions of the seats are perforated, there are fans that suck air into the seats.
Locations of the switches are totally up to you, I let the installer use his best judgment and here they are in the center console area

Roof rack handles courtesy of @TACO5AU5 thanks again!

Removed my front plate in preparation for the front bumper guard tomorrow. Toyota really said fuck it on installing the front license plate plastic bracket…

Got an extra set of hands willing to thread the bolts so it should go quick. More pictures tomorrow.

First time seeing this seat cover in this color. Definitely blends well with the exterior.

Have you found that your AC blows any colder in the conditions you mentioned?

As I’m remembering back to my VOTECH days refrigerant actually needs the difference in temperature to work properly - refrigerant has some strange properties. The expansion valve would be the area that it changes its state.

Curious if there is a noticeable change.
