Who has some miles on the new UpTOP Snorkel?

Glad you got a full refund. We are pointing out the flaws they need to do more to compensate everyone. I guarantee those guys are keeping eyes on this thread but are too chicken to respond. Whoever is running the company sure as hell doesn't know what they are doing with the public relations side. If the class action gets serious let me know people.

I keep saying it but it is criminal they are still selling that crap snorkel on their website with known issues. Consumer protection act anyone?

 

I’m glad it worked out for you. I have mine all set to be shipped back since I figure I’m going to need to send something back at some point. Of course, the risk I take is that they come out with a revised version and I’m back at the $1000 price, whereas I paid $700 for what I have and could have swapped it for a revised version.

 

Worth $0 at the moment in either case.

 

I'd just ask them up front if they plan to honor your original paid price for the revised product when its available. They'll either say absolutely, or they'll likely say it costs us more to make/more material/better quality/more testing/etc, so we can't honor the original price, and then you can decide if you want to take your business somewhere else or not. Or they may run you around saying they'll honor it, and find out later it cost them more and go back on their word. Never hurts to ask though.

 

If someone is looking to sell the uptake snorkel PM me . I’m eager to get my hands on one and do some testing .

Nah but jokes aside, I was sick of killing air filters so often, so I decided to go with my ARB Snorkel. Looked at this one, but I was scared off by how small the company was. Would recommend it 10/10 times. I love how it looks, I'm aware some don't.

I don't think that has been proven yet.

 

MAF readings before and after from @SK808 say otherwise. I'd ask UpTOP what they've found with NA engines.
