TACOMODS radio knobs

Thanks for post OP. Just ordered reduced version.

 

Yup, I went with the RAV4 knobs. Very nice and great little upgrade...although no one would notice but me and that's all that matters.

 

Sorry to revive an old thread, but does anyone know if these will fit the non-JBL premium audio head unit? It’s looks identical to the pics on the website, just minus the little JBL logo…

Thank you! You know, I really don’t even have a problem with the stock knobs, but I just bought a set of these… Haha, I have to get off this forum, costs me way to much!

These knobs are really nice. You'll like them.

 

I put these on my 2021 and it's not a JBL unit. Went with the Rav4 knobs because you keep the back light.

My solution to this problem was modifying a set of super nice billet aluminum radio knobs left over from my old Corvette. To start I trimmed the base of the plastic Tacoma radio knobs, then glued them onto the base of the Corvette knobs. I then spray painted them black. Ended up with nice beefy radio knobs that look great and fit great since they are using the stock radio mounting assembly from the plastic Tacoma knobs.

 

I done did it! I like um!

 

How is the stability with these knobs do the like fall out easy

Same place other people get their knurled knobs from tacomods but you have to special requests them. I think they came in blue and red

 

Damn I didnt seem em on there when I looked. Ill look into special requesting them.

He didn’t ever put them on the website I think. Years ago he put a feeler out there for them but never got much interest I guess, so he never listed them on the website. It was just a if you knew about them you could ask for them.

 

So.. mines don’t fit. I remove the factory ones and then the new ones just won’t “plug in”.

 

I think there were two versions. One pre android auto / Apple car play and one after. They were not the same knob
