Favorite Whiskey?

The above post reminds me of my pet peeve for the day. I don’t like the Elijah Craig stoppers. They narrow as you go up, tough to get a grip. Not ergonomically pleasing. No satisfying heft as you grip and pull the stopper.

Yet, I will continue to drink you, Elijah Craig.

Post up your favorite bottles from an ergonomic perspective.

 

I think you found the only criticism i have for the Elijah Craig. I have to hold the body not the neck.

 

I know it’s non-stop KO bashing on here lately but this bottle is fantastic. I’m not ashamed to admit it. I really like it.

 

Most ergonomic bottle? Idk one of these maybe, that’s why I picked them up,
felt good in hand. All joking aside Weller bottles with the neck swell feel good holding them. But obviously I posted this pic as a flex hahaha.

 

These are all great ergos. I like any tall thin bottle like Eagle Rare for the smooth pour.

Isn’t it insane that such a sought after bottle like the Weller SR is a screw cap?

 

You think that’s funny. Zoom in on the 12yr…. Ergonomic and easy to get to! Up until maybe 5 years ago Weller wasn’t anything special lol. Hell I’ve been drinking Eagle Rare going on 20 years I bet. Things have changed a lot in the Whiskey world. Also 4 roses single barrel bottle shape is excellent.

 

This is a good one. My only problem is that it is empty.

 

have not tried the wheated yet. almost bought some today.

All four of those are Wheaters…. Which one did you have a chance to buy? And why didn’t you???

Oh OK. Knowing I like a 'bite' like a rye I passed in favor of that. Is the wheated sweeter like a wheat beer? I have a malted (Chattanooga) and was just ok.

Ahhhhh ok, I thought you had the option to buy something in my photo. If you wanna try a wheater personally I’d grab a Larceny Barrel Proof. If you like flavor, the barrel proof is by far the best. I think you’d enjoy it.

 

I was just joking around but I also thought you were talking about a Weller A107, not that it’s the only wheated Weller of course because they all are.

I have read mixed reviews about Redemption wheated.

 

challenge accepted! It will be my next 'nice' liquor purchase.

 

All in good fun. I do remember seeing Weller. Needed bottom shelf 'mixing whiskey' and went for pint to try the Elijah Craig Rye. I got the big bottle of Elijah bourbon last week.

 

Got a good deal, $180 for all four bottles
