Recommendations for a cheap holster for an old Colt Frontier Scout

 

Can someone tell me who makes this cause I want one? Am I seeing this right, 12g boxfed LEVER ACTION sg?!?

 

It’s got an extended tube and a box magazine for all the ammo! Also looks like it might be a pump lever action?

Sucks tho because people that don’t know any better eat this shit up. We had a ballot measure that had 2k signatures and zero chance of making the ballot in May suddenly get 100k signatures in June and now we’ll have to vote on a cumbersome purchase permit system and banning standard capacity magazines in November. A signature collector approached me and clearly hadn’t read the measure he was supporting when I started to question him on details. He just kept saying “gun control”

Damn that sucks. Did it actually hit baffles or just the end cap?

As for why...assuming this isn't the first rounds through the can? Same not a new rifle and you know it shoots correctly. Probably either comes down to not be fully mounted (slim chance imo) or just bad luck with a round of ammo

 

Yes,it is just the end cap. About 1K of rounds pumped out. And as far the the AR-10 goes well over 5K in rounds. I am thinking something to do with the crush washers or shims?

There shouldn’t be a crush washer on a suppressor mount.
If it’s not a crush washer check the torque of the muzzle device.
If not either of those it was either improperly mounted or bad ammo.

Least its just the end cap then! Still sucks but could always be worse

 

Anyone here with a FN 509 compact? Do you conceal it? Shoot it a lot/often?
What's the good/bad/ugly?

I own an fnx45 tactical and love it, and has made me like FN quite a bit. This would be my 1st compact and striker fired handgun.

When was the last time you cleaned the rifle? Maybe loose crud? A faulty round (improper load or bad bullet/projectile)?

 

Both Rifles were cleaned before use, it was most definitely a bad round….. I’m just glad it was the end cap only
