Here’s a better link to it but yes:

Installed it myself and hooking the fan up to a manual switch saved letting Toyota tear apart my dash as described in that TSB. I used one of these- bought 2 but the 12” fans only fit on the left side of the condenser- saving the second one for a spare or for our RV. I suppose the 10” fans would fit tighter, but 1 12” fan works very well:

The pool noodle/pipe insulation truck trick is also cheap and surprisingly effective

How about a billet tie down point that utilizes those two bolt holes in the front bed rail?

Finally got freed up and able to do some new stuffs. Was able to get my son involved and let him learn some new stuff. Last weekend we installed a key 200 amp and some kicker KS component speakers on the DCLB. 17201.jpg 20220723_153025.jpg

And this weekend I finally am able to rip apart my headlights and begin the mled 2.0 retrofit. Take me a few weeks to get it all done I'm sure, but I ain't scared.

I put foam in my vents when I removed the jump seats, added soundproofing, and put the utility panel in. The foam cut the decibels down more than the soundproofing.

Pictures and idea stolen from @jerzsubbie : https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ots-of-pics-links.533421/page-5#post-19791252

You can also stuff a pool noodle up between the bed and the cab. I didn't do a decibel meter check after stuffing, but it seems quieter and the noodle was all of 2 bucks. I bought an orange one.

what’s the advantage over running these vs something like Timbrens or Archive stops?

that’s kinda what I’m getting at. I installed Timbrens when I swapped leafs and u/bolt flip kit, and they’re beefy AF. Not sure these are an upgrade…ymmv

Also possible extra problem if they leak. They do look super cool not going to lie. I got some Duro bumps on the way… we’ll see

I'm in the process of testing these also. Mine are set up to a on a 2 lead wiring harness, to the aux box, to a ch4x4 switch in the cab for a simple on/off set up, no temp switch. Mine are more for slow crawling or when you're stuck on a trial waiting for everyone to clear an obstacle. I have an ultra gauge in the cab monitoring engine temps. Have you seen any difference in temps yet? I know they are far from the condenser I'm just not convinced they are good enough quality to be up against the condenser for highway driving at speed. I can confirm that they do fit up against it though. I cant get them any closer as my winch box is in the way.

For me after I had the Archive Garage shock relocation installed I was hitting the shocks while flexing, and the bumps were on the frame, but I still had a ton more travel available in the shocks. So I added spacers and these in an attempt to get the most flex possible. These will allow you to adjust to maximize travel while not hitting the shocks. Basically more adjustability.
