    Easier this way, and no chance of a wounded critter getting away.
    It's not like I enjoy it, but groundhogs are such pests.

    I've caught possums and skunks before and let 'em go.
    Possums I'll relocate.
    With skunks I use a cardboard shield to approach them, though they've never sprayed me.
    They'll let you know if they're agitated. :rolleyes:
    I unlatch and drop the rear gate of the trap and back away.

    Never yet have I caught a raccoon or squirrel.
    I'd have to think it over if I did catch a squirrel ... little apple eating bastards.

    I'm hoping for a double bloom later in the summer. Its the first year for this plant, so not sure I'll get it, but we'll see.
    My plant last year was putting out 6 blooms a day at the height of the season.
