Right on. Heading there tomorrow...just wanna make sure everything is solid so I don't mess up my new tires, lol.

They did quote me $250-300 to put in some 1/2 spacers on the front...seems kinda high or no? I've never installed spacers before, but I thought it was a pretty quick and easy install, or am I mistaken? Just need to regain a small amount of lift since my coils have sagged.

    Seems high to me...

I had some ball joints installed once on the advice of the people installing them... and the next year they said I needed ball joints. Makes me wonder if the first ones were bad.

Does anyone have any good ideas to remove wheels without having the lug key?
I have TE37’s with matching lugs but the lug key is missing after I rolled the truck down the mtn Saturday. I’m trying to salvage what I can off the truck before it goes bye bye.
    Thanks!
I can maybe swindle some pieces off the truck too if anyone needs something minor and it’s something I can do after suffering a massive concussion.

Most tire shops have a master set.

I’ll have to see if they’ll let me borrow or loan it. Thanks for quick update.

Post a pic of the truck whenever you get a chance. Curious to see what that roll was like.

Seems like you’re doing okay, glad it wasn’t worse.

Will do if I remember. From what I recall the front passenger tire sluffed off, I immediately pressed the brake and reversed to kinda back out the opposite way. Soon as I let off the brake it was game over. Not sure how many times I rolled…accident happened last Saturday at like 3-4pm. I was life flighted out Sunday night after some hikers found me more or less bleeding out and having convulsions. So needless to say I was just about dead, just got released from the hospital this morning. Will post pics when I’m in a better mental state.

Damn! Thank god someone found you. One thing to consider is utilizing a tracking feature like “Find My” on the iPhone. It doesn’t work when you don’t have service but you might have service in some cases. There are other devices like Spot you may find helpful.

    https://www.findmespot.com/en-us/

We use the Find My feature in my house. Glympse is a free app that is similar but you set the sharing guidelines. I used that when I drove out to Escalante to attempt to find a 50k treasure. My bf and friends could watch me disappear into the wilderness until I lost signal. I should’ve had a Spot with me. It was several hours without service and it was in the middle of nowhere. Luckily I had a 4wd Toyota and lots of supplies with me in case shit went south. I also gave GPS coordinates to a few people regarding where I was heading and the path I was taking, just in case. Off-roading solo is a blast but it’s always better to have a friend or two bring their rigs.

100% agree with you. This all could have been prevented, but sadly that’s not the case.

Holy shit! Damn, glad your ok. yes, wear your seat belt.
You could also ask a tire shop what they use as "master key" and get one to yank the wheels? but if you rolled enough good chance they are tweaked themselves.

The question is, which key? I have a couple of keys but they are all different and there are more than what I have. Best bet is take a pic and go to a tire ship that you do business with and borrow one.

That was my very first thought as I looked at the first picture. "Was he wearing a seatbelt?"

    Thanks for answering that question.

The only friends I've lost in car accidents have been those that weren't wearing a seat belt.

That's insane. What trail where you on? Glad you made it out!

I am impressed by the condition of the cab considering the rollover. Do you have any pictures of the recovery?

I don’t. I haven’t even seen the truck in person, I just know it was about $4000 to recover/tow/store in the lot.
