I been eyeing the Xlts on this size but it’s kinda of disappointing knowing they’re barely wider than a 265RG.

i have the 265 ST Maxxes so if I upgraded all I would get is a taller tire?

havw you measured the Xlts width?

not the best photos but just slapped 295/70r17 km3s on some rrw 17x8.5-12. Had to do a little more cutting to clear coming from 285s but they look much beefier. Especially with the -12 offset

    3rd Genners running a 295 70 17.... how does the spare fit? I run a 285 75 16 which fits as my spare but going to a 295 70 17.

I've tried getting a spare to fit in stock location. I flattened the tabs but still cannot clear the shackle hangers. If you take air out you might be able to squeeze it in there. You may also need to have axle dump exhaust. I know it's not ideal but I just carry in bed until I can find a better solution

Thats what I plan on doing I guess. I didn't like how my spare on the 285 sagged down. Would have to remove for clearance when I hit the dirt anyways.

Can you please tell me much does the tires measure mounted and with the weight of the truck? I have the same wheel dimensions.
    I’m torn between 285/75 and 295/70

It would be tight and really hang down.
I run a Cooper St Maxx 255/85/16 on the steel spare wheel. That's a tall skinny, 32.8" high and 10.2" wide. I run 295/70/17 Ridge Grapplers, which are 33.31" high and 11.77" wide. Close enough in a pinch.
I had to drill 2 new holes for the hanger enabling it to move back about an inch, reusing the other 2 original holes. Even then, I use a ratchet strap to pull it all the way back against the hitch since I could see that it did still rub the pumpkin. Tabs flattened, exhaust chopped at the axle since it did rest on the heat shield
Not sure any of that helps, but that's how I ended up doing it to run a full size spare

I’m looking at getting the TRD lift. 2in rear and 1in front, will Cooper 295/70/17 on a -20 offset work without any cutting or cmc?

Do you have a pic straight on the front or back to see the poke? I’m deciding between the -12 or -25
    Thank you!

Wescott Pro Kit... maybe 2.5 inch? Icon Progressive AALs with overload left in. 17x8.5 RRWs. -12. 295 70 17s MTs. I rub on my flaps. I think if I removed I would be ok. I'm installing some UCAs soon to see if I can manipulate the rub with a good alignment.
