Backup camera

• Hello, new to this, could not find original post that put me on this path, I have basic 4x4, 4cyl model taco, in eastern canada. Took chance on a plug and play camera lens as full wiring was in place as well as factory gracenote radio with screen. Don't have paypal, eBay was not an option. Found one (the last one he had) on Amazon.ca. $155 CA snail mailed to my door. Did not work at first, then checked, and yup, the harness under bumper was unplugged. I now have camera! Including pic of box in case it helps

 

What’s the resolution? Are you going through the OEM headunit or their monitor?

In process project. Installed Joying Android HU, a front camera, kept OEM backup camera.

Cut the wire loops to eliminate the parking lines up front.

 

all stock, I only bought the camera with correct plug on it, did not see resolution listed, but took pic to see for yourself. Not great, but hey , $155 bucks, plug and play. Good 'nuff
