    SOLD

    $600

This is set of custom Alcan Spring leaf springs for a 1st gen (98-04) Toyota Tacoma.

These springs were custom built to support a load that is 600lbs over stock with a 3" lift, while providing a better/more comfortable ride than the stock leaf springs.

If your stock springs are sagging or you're looking to carry more of a load, these are the perfect solution for you.

New, these leaf springs cost more than $1000 plus shipping from Colorado, and they are heavy, at ~75+lbs each. Local pickup (Seattle), or will ship on buyers dime.

Comes with essentially new polyurethane bushings (about 100 miles).

    Made in USA by Alcan.

Moar Alcan for now with a wee bit more lift to "fix" the resting position of my rear shock shafts, since I've already done them twice and was just too lazy to do them again, hahaha.

BUT... the 63s that Zane did, frenched into the frame. I really like that for 5 years from now when I get new leafs again.

BUMP, someone needs these leaves I'm sure, they're good shit

You've been through like 3 leafs packs in about 6 years, think you're gonna get 5 outta the new ones?

For anyone wondering what frenched means...

Means you actually cut and weld them in place of a piece of the frame

I will say, at $100 for the set of used Chevy leaves, they are the absolute best riding leaves I've ever had and they're 3/4 ton truck leaves so even with weight on them they don't sag a ton.

Some folks do like being taller, but I prefer more tire than more lift, still about 4" unloaded and 3" or so when loaded down.

Been wanting to do this as well. My only reservation is the height gained by the springs. From my research, looks like most get 4" or more. I looking for about 2" to 3" absolute max of lift unloaded. Are you on the shortest possible shackles? I know frenching helps but it looks like you set the main hanger in as far as possible. Looks like you also used a safe-t-cap to reinforce that frame section too. Do you document the process somewhere?

Definitely a want, but could become a need if I play my cards right.

Whoever gets these will be stoked on them. I had them build me the same setup.

What length shocks you do? They flex like crazy
