    Right?

She was just under 5lbs when we first got her. Fast forward 2 months and she's 10.2lbs as of her visit 2 weeks ago.

Well, yard work is all done. Been at it since 7am working on both the front and back.

Garage is cleaned out and there's a ton more room too.

Good to see @Yota X got a kick out of my MIG gun holder -

Said it before, I put those figures to work.

You mentioned getting a pooch before; doing that after your planned trips?

Yeah, lately I have been thinking of getting one sooner since I've seen shelters are getting more full as the wealth gap worsens. One dog isn't a lot but I suppose anything helps.

Did you paint the whole frame? I've been wanting to do a roll on paint job to the frame and undercarriage, and I've been curious how much can be done with the cab and drivetrain mostly intact. Maybe jack the cab up a few inches if necessary. Looks like pulling the fuel tank would help a lot, too.

I unbolted the cab and just blocked it up with the hi-lift jack so I could reach my mini foam roller up there. I rolled all that on. I stopped at the body mount right before the front wheel, gonna do the rest when the engine comes out in December

    Ordered 2 "welding blankets"

I want to get as clean of a cut as possible with the plasma cutter on the crossmember. Then I'll hit the factory booger welds with a flap disc.

Cutting some steel tomorrow with the bandsaw; need to get that 45 15/16" width.

I kept coming up with excuses with myself as to why I haven't done more.

At first I was like "shit the garage is messy, I need room to do any work"...so I said nope, I'll clean everything up.

Then I told myself "I need to plumb the garage, etc"....told myself fuck that and bought a 3/8" rugged hose.

Relocated the air compressor too as part of my clean up and organization.

Next I said "I don't want to damage anything with cutting, grinding, etc"...again, fuck that so I bought 2 blankets.

At this point the only thing left is just getting the 3/16" steel cut which I'll do at school, and get things prepped so I can start cutting and welding this next Sunday.

Hell yeah, alot of work but worth it! Like you said, maybe if I french in the rear hanger as well I could get the lift I'm looking for. I like the idea of being able to fully load the truck so I'm hesitant to remove leafs just to lower it. Did you do top shock mount relocation while you were in there? I saw in the other thread it looked like have the new lower shock mounts much lower than stock. If so, what kind of travel you have on your shocks now?

Yeah, I did do a relocation, and I have another one planned actually. I have 12" kings in there and I can actually get the leaves to flex more than that so I'm thinking 14" next and I am going to go through the bedfloor and raise the lower mounts to be flat with the bottom of the axle (it's about 4.5" raise from the current upper mount to the spot right under my bedslide where they would be)

Went over to Mom’s today to drain and refill her spa and my dog Juno lost her mind when we turned onto Grammy’s street. Singing the song of her people. It’s the little things.

Heck, I don’t stinking know! I haven’t sourced a single part. I vacillate between doing the 4x4 and manual swap vs just buying a different 1st gen to work from and selling this one to my company so I could still drive it. Decisions :annoyed:
