I used some 3” screws to hold it down. Gonna add some permanent D rings for next time

He came down onto a rock with his tie rod end and it sheared the entire thing right at the jam nut. Wildest thing ever.

This is one reason why I have the beefy upgrade.

If I heard the name I would probably remember but I’m not sure. What’re the popular ones?

Metal Cloak, but I'm pretty sure it's not those. They're obvious. Teraflex. Synergy.

Teraflex sounds right. I wanted to say there was an X sound in there. The only other thing I know is he said it’s 2.5 ton steering

I'm not sure about the last deal. I have the Metalcloak version and it's waaaaaay beefier than stock. He must've hit that thing in the very right spot.

I took a screenshot of an already screen recorded video, so here’s a shitty quality pic of it.

That's just crazy. I would just go home at that point. I just went out to look at mine and I don't even understand.

    Wonder if they'd warranty it.

Probably. I'll try and get a new one under warranty and then replace all of them anyways and try and sell off the old ones for a few bucks. I'm doing some reading and radial tires are much better suited for long highway driving, and these are cheap bias ply. They're also D rated, so I'll get some new E rated radials.

Edit: you were clearly talking about his tie rod and not my tire, that’s what I get for tacomaworlding and watching tv.
