Yea I dont think it's that's it happens when the rear pass suspension cycles off road. I'm leaning towards the bottoms mount on my rear bp51 are failing. Just need more time you take it apart and check

I caught myself doing that a few days ago. Truck was smooth as butter.

I promptly slowed down and said I should never do that again.

Replaced my drivers side inner tie-rod. That's the last seized/rusted part. Now I can finally get my alignment done.

Rebuilt my clutch slave cylinder with the updated Toyota part. Easy job, and was $17 vs buying a new oem slave for much more.

Towed a “trailer” for the first time in its life. A buddy of mine didn’t have a truck up and running to run to the dump so I figured I’d give it a shot. I could tell it was back there, that’s for sure. Went out and hit some fire roads after.

No, I just cleaned it out and inspected it to make sure it didn’t need anything further. It was in perfect shape from what I could tell.

Im sure it wasn’t this trip. But did that dent happen with the sliders on? I have a smaller similarish one that a hefty branch came up in just the right way to miss the sliders and dent the truck

Yep it sure did happen with the sliders on. I got pushed into an embankment and wedged between the body and the slider with a boulder. It was snowing too so that didn’t help. My sliders are tucked up closer to the body as well so it may have helped if they protruded out more.

Cool beans. Sometimes you get ridge deposits where the seals start to wear which accelerates the wear(or at least that used to happen on a few older vehicles I’d worked on).

Had to replace the carrier bearing so while the drive shaft was out I figured I might as well replace the U-Joints too. It was about time for all of them anyway, but I was especially surprised by this guy from the U-Joint connected to the rear dif flange.

Just noticed you added a third brake light to your softopper. How did you attach it? It looks a lot like the one I bought. I was going to use some kind of adhesive like JB weld plastic adhesive, but now I'm seriously thinking of ordering a different kind of light that has screw holes in it and just punching a hole through the canvas, but I really really don't want to do that though.

I used the 3M tape that came with it but it didn’t last too long. I put a tiny bit of jb plastic weld on it and it’s held up perfect.
