    HA!

I’m a bit slow today. 4 readings and nothing. An hour and a fiver later, I gets it.

Finished rewiring some 12v lines in the camper trailer...also trailed it with the wife's Atlas v6 (rated to tow 5k surprisingly) since it wouldn't trigger the backup lights when plugged into the VWs 7pin connection. So I figured out that the one we got had a defective backup light connection, so we swapped connectors since they don't have any trailer with backup = problem solved!

Put the last mod onto the Jeep yesterday. Was going to just sell them, but I'm done with that crap. Stainless door hinges. Way more of a pain than I thought it would be. Dropped one door and damaged it. Some vise grips and it's passable. Then I fought to get everything aligned. You have the striker, the outer hinges, and inner hinges with room to wiggle. Was ready to not finish, but figured out the trick on the next one. The rest went much smoother. Even put a little POR15 under the hinges where Jeep was to cheap to paint.

Today, I polished the paint up and put ceramic coating on it so I can take some pictures. But of course it started raining. At least it looks better than when it left the dealer. Don't ever let a dealership detail your vehicle. These dudes rarely know what they're doing. A little bit of time and some energy and you can do a better job. Actually a much better job. And I only barely know what I'm doing.

Just rambling because that seems like the thing to do here.

We will miss it, but it will always be remembered for some epic wheeling for the short time we had with it

Went to Edinburg to pick up an MBRP muffler from a dude off FB. Decided to take Peter's Mill on the way back and shake down my front wheels sans spacers. No rubbing at all for 2 excruciatingly long hours going under 5 mph. I'll miss the poke on the front wheels but the rubbing was getting ridiculous. Now it feels right, until I decide to fuck it up again.

Side note, FPK is so much more fun than Peter's Mill. It's just so damn rocky, cant really go fast anywhere along it. Was able to do it in 2LO with the rear locker occasionally on. First time running 2LO locked, pretty cool side benefit of the 2LO mod.

I kind of will, too. I have no idea what's next. New Ranger will be here soon. The Tremor trim level interests me. And there'll be a Raptor version, too. Next Colorado looks good in pictures. Especially in ZR2 trim.

I do like the new Frontier, but feel they're asking a bit much.

Who knows what's going on with the next-gen Tacoma. If the styling matches the new Tundra, I'll pass.

And this is just the new market!

If you go at night, air down to 15, you can go pretty fast in some spots safely. During the day it suckd because of ATV and dirt bike traffic. But at night you can see lights coming.

I've gone 30mph on the trail there.

A friend at work has a Colorado with the diesel. He loves it, but keeps it on the street.

The diesel is gone and so is the V6. Interior is 1000 time better, too.
