@04Pre_Runner the high beam indicator light still works despite not having any resistors, even worked with nothing plugged in

I had no option to get my high beam indicator back. They sell load resistors that fix it but then a bunch of people in the reviews complain they catch on fire. So I'll just go without the dash indicator.

Someone in town posted an ad to FB marketplace for free firewood, I'm not one to turn that down. Drove over and it was an enormous pile of large tree rounds. Grabbed a bunch, but I think I'm going to have to invest in a chainsaw now.

Lots of ads like that around here after the wind and snow storms we had this year.

"Free fire wood, you just have to cut the tree up."

There's a small pile in my yard you're welcome to.

We suspect it was airlifted in via helicopter for the commercial. LOL, I still haven't figured out the smoke machine's purpose. If they want to make it look like a Jeep is overheating, well I can't stop them.

Anybody (@Sperrunner?) know about condensate pumps for mini-splits?

I've got a Daikin mini-spit with a Mini Orange 83909 condensate pump. The pump doesn't appear to be pumping--the condensate drip tray is overflowing. I cleaned a bunch of gunk out of the lines, but it still isn't pumping. I'm assuming the pump has failed. Since they're pricey to replace (about $170 on Amazon, significantly more most other places), I'd like to be as sure as possible that the pump is the the problem.

Is there anything else I might check? Is there a test procedure for a pump like this?

Its either the pump or the thing that senses level. Idk how that model works exactly.

but its not uncommon for them to fail

It's got a donut-shaped float that sits around a plastic cylinder. I'm assuming there's a magnet in there.

I don't see a way to buy just the float or just the pump, so I guess it doesn't matter which part is broken.
