Quick question on backlit fog lights: diode dynamics has a video that states to use the T connector to the marker lights' purple wire. I feel dumb but that would make the backlights on any time the vehicle is on, right? Or is that only when I have DRLs/lowbeams on?

 

Methinks it would supply power to the relay which in turn you should be able to turn on with a switch. But the light(s) would only work with the parking lights on.

 

They couldn't get their strategy any worse if they tried.

Truck is finally going to the body shop

 

What happened?

 

While on vacation in June in South Carolina. An older couple rear ended Me. I was sitting still parked in front of my friends home when they hit me. It’s going to body shop to get its appraisal. They have to order parts for it.
I was told so who knows when it’ll get fixed the back bumper is all smashed up the tailgate has dents in it and the passenger back thinners got a bending it and the tail like a broken so I bought a replacement Tail light.
so anybody driving around Western Massachusetts if you see a black Tacoma with the bumper damaged on the passenger side with two giant gray zip ties holding the bumper on that’s me.

Bad luck at least insurance Will cover it. But now the truck has a “history”. Don’t sweat it thou mine was slammed too but I still bought it. Lol

 

I waited 6 months for my truck. It has history. Life goes on. I won’t give up on it because of history. I’m buying anyways.
